Fly Fishing ... The Quiet Sport

With the exceptional fishing opportunity we have to offer at Fireside Lodge, it is no wonder that fly fishing enthusiasts have discovered the chance to explore new waters for their "silent" sport. Amid the pristine atmosphere of the northern wilderness, the fly fishers can broaden their techniques to pursue Northern Pike, Muskie and Smallmouth Bass. As enthusiasts of the sport ourselves, we have the general knowledge and appreciation to confer with guests to give them the best opportunity to be successful. Prominent people in the fly fishing industry, from the areas of Colorado, Ohio, Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin, have raved about the fly fishing at Fireside Lodge. A few examples of catches are: 27 Northern Pike between 30" & 42.5", 3 Muskie in one day, 10 Northern Pike in one day, a 39" & 38" Northern Pike and a 36" Muskie, 5 Smallmouth Bass between 17 & 18.5 inches within a few hours, all on a fly rod. This does not include all the Smallmouth Bass that have been caught throughout the years by our fly fishing guests. Please feel free to call for references (1-800-545-0815) so you yourself can talk to the people that caught the fish. They'll tell you that if you're looking for a new challenge to your sport of fly fishing, don't miss the chance to fish at Fireside Lodge!
